Habib Cem Yenidoğan, deprem mühendisliği, yapı mühendisliği ve sismik izolasyon alanlarında çalışan bir akademisyendir. Tam ölçekli sarsma tablası deneyleri, performansa dayalı tasarım, deprem risk ve kayıp tahmini, modern ahşap yapılar ve yapı sağlığı izleme sistemleri üzerine uzmanlaşmıştır.
Japonya ve Avrupa merkezli çok sayıda uluslararası araştırma projesinde görev almış; Nagoya University, NIED E-Defense (Japonya), University at Buffalo (ABD) gibi kurumlarda araştırmacı olarak bulunmuştur. Bahçeşehir Üniversitesi’nde bölüm başkanlığı ve araştırma laboratuvarı direktörlüğü görevlerini yürütmüştür.
